We started this class two months ago. It
was a small class as there were not many students. As an English subject is was
one of best classes ever. In the first weeks, I studied how to write a blog.
This was a log on-line of what we studied. We commented on each this work as a
sort of peer review.
Then we did the summary. That is a condensed form of essay and we found
the main ideas and numbered them. That is a condensed form of an essay in my
own words. I learned how to find the main points from a longer text. I also
learned how to find suitable quotation and in-text citation from the passages
we studied .
I will use these skills in the future as note-taking is a life skill and
restating ideas is very important. Therefore, I can say that this has been a
very useful exercise for me and I need more practice in this very important
skill. I need another period of time to improve further in this area. This was
hard to do and my writing was not good in the beginning and so more of the same
please. What we do in this class it will help us in all subjects.
